Sorry I missed the tribute again. Would really like to attend next year, is there somewhere I can get information about the 2011 event?

I made the trek to Aspen from Ohio a few years ago. My family and I visited the John Denver Memorial and the events of John Denver week. It was a truly moving and magical experience. I cannot believe that it has been 13 years already….His music will live on forever….

    Hi Doug M.,

Sorry we missed you this year! Hopefully you can make it out next year for the tribute.
When you were here last, did you make it over to the John Denver Sanctuary? It’s such a cool spot to walk through.

You can access information on the 2011 John Denver tribute by calling the Wheeler Opera House at 970-920-5770.

    Thanks for the response!

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for the post! It’s great that you and your family had the chance to return to Aspen for the tribute this year. I visited the John Denver Memorial during the tribute as well. Wasn’t it great to see so many people walking through there and singing his songs?

Hope to see you again soon!
