Aspen, three major air service providers and Frias Properties of Aspen are teaming up for another big season. With a number of improvements and recent announcements, getting to Aspen, Colorado, is now easier than ever. So if you’re planning on visiting the top ski destination in the world – with more than 5,000 acres of snow-covered terrain as well as world-class lodging, dining and nightlife – you have plenty of options!
Recently, Delta Airlines announced it will add new nonstop seasonal service to the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE), located only three miles from downtown Aspen. Delta will offer daily flights from Atlanta (ATL) and Saturday-only flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) beginning on Dec. 21, 2013. With the move, Delta will be the only airline to offer daily non-stop service to Aspen from the Southeastern U.S. Combined with the Saturday service from Minneapolis-St. Paul, the flights provide convenient connecting opportunities through two of the country’s largest hubs – and results in more flights from more cities than ever before.
Delta joins United Airlines and American Airlines in providing winter flights to Aspen from cities including Denver (DEN), Chicago (ORD), Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX) San Francisco (SFO), and now Atlanta (ATL) and Minneapolis.-St. Paul (MSP). Australian guests will enjoy Aspen’s numerous in-bound and out-bound San Francisco and Los Angeles flights!
