The Aspen-Pitkin County Airport (ASE), in conjunction with Stay Aspen Snowmass, recently released an updated summary of summer commercial flights in and out of the airport. The summary highlights a number of air service changes from last year, but still offers numerous flights in and out of one of America’s most popular ski destinations.

  • Although Frontier service from Denver (DIA) has been discontinued, United Airlines will be offering 10+ flights to and from Aspen during weekdays, 9+ flights on Saturdays, and 12+ flights on Sundays from June 7 through August 30.
  • United seasonal daily nonstops from Los Angeles (LAX) begin on June 7 and will continue until October 2.
  • United’s daily nonstops from Chicago (ORD) will begin June 7 and continue until August 27.
  • United is also offering new daily nonstops from Houston (IAH), which will also run from June 7 to August 27.

Flying into the Aspen airport makes you vacation simple. A short 28-minute flight from Denver can save you more than 3 hours of driving!     You left out American Eagle Airlines which will be offering daily non-stop service from Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW) and Los Angeles (LAX) starting June 14, 2012.
