Chateau Eau Claire Makeover Under Way

Published by at under Lodging

Early this year the Chateau Eau Claire Condominium Owners Association voted to completely renovate the outside of the complex. The updates include the following:

–          Stucco to replace wood paneling

–          Replace stairs and towers

–          Replace stone walkways with concrete

–          Elevator to replace center stair tower

–          Replace outside lighting

–          New Landscaping

–          Replace signage

–          Resurface retaining walls (by main parking lot)

–          Replace trash and firewood enclosures with new including stucco & steel gates

–          New windows

–          Brick siding and accents over fireplace chases

–          Replace guardrails

–          Replace ski lockers

Both Frias Properties and Chateau Eau Claire Condominium owners are very excited to have this renovation completed. The outside of the building will finally match all of the upgrades owners have completed inside their units. Association President, Tom Higgins said “Guests can now look forward to staying in a beautiful complex, both inside and out, and owners can take more pride in their complex being one of the best in town.”

As of today, construction is about half way complete.  The renovation is estimated to be finished by the 2011 winter ski season. Chateau Eau Claire is located right on the Roaring Fork River on the South side of town. It is within 4 blocks from Aspen’s central core. We offer over a dozen units ranging from affordable standard units to deluxe in this popular complex.
