Early January Storm Creates Powder Heaven

Looking for at place to ski?  Aspen/Snowmass is where it’s at.

A storm blew in over the weekend of January 8th, 2011 and dumped over a foot of fresh snow on all four of our mountains.  It’s a powder day!

Aspen Mountain (Ajax) got hit with 15 inches, Aspen Highlands accumulated 11 inches, Buttermilk Mountain received 10 inches and Snowmass Mountain got 13 inches of new snow in the last 48 hours.

It’s a blue bird out there today and will be all week so if you’re trying to decided where to ski, come to Aspen/Snowmass – you’ll be glad you did.

#1 reason to visit Aspen for the skiing:  No lift lines.  See you out there!
