Ski on Aspen over Memorial Day weekend?
Not done with skiing for the season? Skiing on Aspen Mountain over Memorial Day weekend could be a possibility. The weather over the next week will determine if that is a possibility.
Aspen Skiing Company announced plans to open the top half of Aspen Mountain for Memorial weekend if the weather cooperates. They have been grooming the existing snow to keep their options open. A winter advisory is in effect for Tuesday and Wednesday, May 18 – 19. Four to eight inches of snow is expected. A decision on opening the mountain will be made by Ski co. next Tuesday, May 25th.
