The 4th Annual KSNO Pray for Snow party took place at the base of Snowmass Mountain on Friday night. Locals gathered from across the valley to celebrate the kick off of the 2010-2011 ski season – praying that the snow gods would once again unleash the white gold on Aspen, Colorado.
Two Days Later:
A winter storm warning was issued today at 12:52 AM MST; projecting up to 4 feet of snow by opening day!
The winter storm warning will stay in effect for Aspen, Colorado until 6 AM MST on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Snow accumulation is expected to hit 2 feet in town with south facing slopes reaching 3 to 4 feet of fresh powder by Wednesday night. Visit your local weather station for more details.
