As soon as Aspen opens for the 2010 ski season, it is non-stop entertainment and action in town.
The first big event of the winter season is the Winternational Audi FIS Alpine World Cup. This event is spread out over 2 days, November 27-28, and is taking place on Aspen Mountain. Spectators near and far are invited to watch the best female racers in the world compete for the Winternational title. Seating available at the base of Aspen Mountain, Lift 1A – first come, first serve. If you can’t make it out to the races, you can access all of the LIVE action on PlumTV, NBC and Versus.

Another event taking place Thanksgiving weekend, 3 days after the mountain opens, is the highly anticipated return of the very popular Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series hosted by Aspen/Snowmass. The series kicks off on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 6:30 PM in the Upper Gondola Plaza at the base of Aspen Mountain featuring Blind Melon. This is an outdoor event. Don’t miss the Fireworks Extravaganza over Aspen Mountain following the show!
