My only complaint is the young lady who was working the front dest on
Sunday, February 21. She was quite possibly the rudest hotel attendant I have
ever dealt with in gathering our prepaid transportation information. If we
come back it would be nice not to have to deal with her on any level. Other
than her, the stay was great.

Place was clean and organized, service was great, i certainly reccomend it to other families friend of mine

We were moved to this condo after it turned out that the condo we booked was incorrectly advertised as having 2 king beds. Instead it only had 1. We requested that management do something about it and were moved to this condo. The condo itself was great, had all the amenities and conveniences of a luxurious home. Everything worked really well except perhaps the heat in the condo which never went below 80 degrees. It was dry in the room and was a problem especially at night. The condo had an all-room humidifier installed but was broken and was not fixed during our stay since it lacked new filter. We used portable humidifiers and it helped somewhat. Another annoyance was the fireplace. Since this was not a gas fireplace, the fire would go out often and needed to be re-started. Other than that, all other aspects of the place were terrific. There is a ski closet outside of the front door, however there is only space to place skis and poles, so if you snowboard, you will need to place your board in with the logs next to the closet. Consider renting and storing your equipment by the mountain base as the condo is a couple of blocks away from the free shuttle and aspen mountain base and you have to walk uphill to the condo. Not the most pleasant thing to do when it is slippery and snowy outside. Then you have to drag skis upstairs to the third floor. You get pretty winded especially in this altitude.

This condo was perfect for our stay in Aspen. The owners of the condo have thought of everything. From the heated floors to the electronic blinds.

Would definately stay here again.

The Durant 5D in ASE is a beautifully appointed condo. It was very clean and in good repair. It would have been helpful to have an "owner's book" that explained the operation of a few things, such as the two drawer dishwasher and the heating system. We were able to find the instruction manuals in a cabinet which did help us.

The unit was advertised to have daily maid service. Even though the maids were pleasant, it was minimal service at best...and one day they simply did not show.

Our family of 7 adults spent a week here in early January. The condo is luxuriously appointed and sleeps 8 very comfortably. The lounge room is cosy with a nice view over the pool, hot tub and town.
The condo is a short stroll from the main bus station if skiing at Snowmass, Aspen Highlands or Buttermilk. For Ajax Mtn at Aspen, you can ski out the back door and down the gondola - a great convenience!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - and loved everything that Aspen has to offer. We definitely hope to return!!
