290 great location although, somewhat small but with just a 4 day stay quite adequate. And, with the additional pass to aspen Spa, a great place.

We really like this unit. My husband and I have requested it multiple times. It is a corner unit. It is quite, with a lot of natural light...and great views of aspen Mountain. We love the Colorado design theme and the wood burning fireplace...with a virtual unlimited supply of dry wood. Also, it is very convenient to aspen's restaurants, parks, trails, and gondola. In the winter you can actually ski down Ruthies Run and nearly ski into the condo. Don't forget to enjoy the views from the hot tub.
It is very helpful that they have an actual staffed front desk on-site. The Fasching Haus staff are always so cheerful and helpful...every morning they have fresh coffee made, local newspapers, etc.

Front desk was not friendly and I kept getting voice mails and emails telling me to move my car although I had the correct parking pass and was not parked illegally. Very annoying and alarming.

Fashing Haus #290 was really nice. Accomodations and Location were great except for the walk up the hill each day.

Issues were:
1) our driver did not know the correct entrance to the unit so took us over some gravel during which one of our bag handles broke and in doing so fell and tore a hole in my wife's North Face parka.
2) we would have liked a better place to change at the end of our ski day, the day we left. We had to change in the luggage closet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one week at the Fashing Haus #290. The apt. was fully equipped, new kitchen , lovely furniture and a cozy atmosphere.. Our only disappointment was the bathroom. It was very small, not updated, with a shower door that was unhinged.
The service was fine and very much enjoyed the passes to the Aspen Spa because we are avid gym goers. The location was great but walking up the hill several times a day proved too much for my husband.
The daily maid service was great to have and the apt was relatively clean each day.
The only other comment is that the pool chairs are impossible to lay down on. They are metal without a mattress or pad and killing on the back. Thus the pool area was always empty which was a shame!

The Fashing Haus condiminium complex is very well maintained and is quite high quality. Unit #290 is small, but the kitchen is wonderful, both in quality of appliances as well as utensils available for cooking. The eating area is sufficient for four people, although the place would feel wuite confining w/ that number residing there. We had two of us, and it worked perfectly for all our needs. And you couldn't ask for a better location.

We had a nice stay there. Furniture was nice, however dining room chairs were to bulky and hard to move away from table. The curtains in the living room could have been wider for complete privacy in the evening.
