"Chateau Roaring Fork #20"
5 of 5

The condo was a great place for our group of 8 guys playing in aspen for the weekend. It was roomy, economical and close enough to the aspen core (5 blocks) to walk to the restaurants and bars in the evenings.

"Was surprised by the beds"
3 of 5

this is a great big place with very old decor (maybe the 70s?). I was surprised that all of the king or full beds were just twins put together. The couples definitely were not happy on this trip.

"Not fancy but very spacious and a great deal"
5 of 5

We had two families (for a total of 10 people) stay here, and there was plenty of room for everyone in this spacious condo. The decor isn't the most current, but for the price, who cares. It's clean, only a three-block walk to town (unless you want to take the shuttle that picks up in front of the condo), provides a beautiful view of the Roaring Fork River, and perhaps most importantly when you have six kids dirtying clothes, an in-unit washer and dryer. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I also want to mention what a great experience we had with Frias Properties. In a time when there's no such thing as customer service anymore, they were a real standout. We lost a day on the front end of our trip due to weather, and they very happily agreed to change our reservation a day without charging us any fees. We were also able to arrange a late check-out with no problem. Anytime we needed anything, all we had to do was call, and we were able to speak with a friendly and knowledgeable person who bent over backwards to accommodate us. We will definitely tell everyone we know to go through Frias if they plan to travel to aspen.

"Great for groups"
4 of 5

Larger than some of the "high end" units in the same complex with most all the same amenities. Great value for larger groups who simply need a base for their outdoor activites. Not far from downtown and parallel rather than down or uphill which is very nice. Great community hot tub(s) and full size pool.

"Close to the slopes casual fun"
4 of 5

My family as well as my brother's family stayed at Chateau Roaring Fork 20. It was big and quite indestructable. We had five children there and we didn't worry about anything being broken, or the kids getting hurt. It was perfect for a large group not needing any chi chi interior. It was functional. And even when the dishwasher flooded the condo, the place was fine with only a few towels.

The location was perfect. We were just a few blocks walking distance to the gndola at Ajax. We drove to all of the other mountains too. They were very close, as well.We had great parking and even left strollers out for days at a time.
Restaurants in the area were fantastic.

The maid service was great. I even left my wallet there and it was returned. Thanks a million.
We had a ball.
