"Better than Chateau Eau Claire"
2 of 5
We moved to Chateau Roaring Fork after spending 2 nights at Chateau Eau Claire (where we originally had our reservations). Eau Claire had significant construction going on, of which Frias had not warned or told us. When we got to Eau Claire, we could not even use the deck because it was covered with scaffolding and occupied by a workman. Frias should have told us of this construction (the pool was dug up and was a big muddy hole in the ground) when we checked in and should have given us another option. We attempted 2 nights at Eau Claire, but it was impossible (the noise of the construction, etc.) After a phone call, we moved to Roaring Fork, which was OK - very musty - but a great improvement over Eau Claire, simply because there was no construction. We will not use Frias Properties again.
