Three Days of Morning Balloon Launches
Sept. 16 - 18, 2022, 7 a.m. - 9 a.m.
Watch the 47th annual display of balloons from afar! Instead of gathering in Snowmass Town Park, locals and visitors are encouraged to scout out sites to view the colorful display of hot air balloons rising from the valley floor and dotting the bluebird skies. Here are a few ways to enjoy the hot-air spectacle this year:
DRIVE IN:
Guests may park at Town Park Station, at the Rodeo Lot, and along Brush Creek Road (between Horse Ranch and Meadow Drive) on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be a food truck with breakfast items at Snowmass Town Park, and the field will be open to the public for up-close viewing of the launch. Please note that there will not be a bounce house this year.
HIKE UP, BIKE AROUND
Snowmass features an incredible trail system, perfect for accessing the best vantage spots in the village. Parking is free in the Snowmass Village lots, the Rodeo Lot, and the Brush Creek Park & Ride (Intercept Lot), both great starting points for hikers or bikers. READ THE GUIDE >>
NIGHT GLOW
On Friday, Sept. 16, watch baloons rise and light up the night sky with "Night Glow" from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Snowmass Town Park will host a DJ, and guests can park in the Rodeo Lot and watch from the park and surrounding areas.
