Our Group Sales Manager, Sonya Haushalter, joins the Frias family after more than 15 years in the hospitality industry, most recently including a four-and-a-half-year stint as the Head Concierge at The Ritz-Carlton Club at Aspen Highlands. She is committed to the anticipation of guests' needs and knows firsthand how important it is to be proactive than reactive. She will personally ensure that a smooth plan for your group is established and expectations are exceeded.
Our dedicated Groups Sales Department specializes in the following:
- Finding the best lodging location in town for your group
- Making sure that group lodging is near each other
- Working with local HOAs to provide access to private conference rooms for group functions with cutting edge A/V
- Putting together a Welcome Reception, if requested
- Giving all group members complimentary access to the health and fitness facility of their preference
In addition to group sales, Sonya has had the privilege of initiating and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with vendors in the Aspen/Snowmass area. Needless to say, she has been known to utilize her established local contacts to go above and beyond to address any question or concern you may have.
When she’s not working to find accommodations best suited to the needs of a group, Sonya continues to develop vendor relationships; analyze the Aspen/Snowmass markets; oversee tour operator contracting; and manage rate distribution. By keeping innovation and efficiency in mind, Sonya is constantly evaluating new technologies and relationship opportunities.
