FRACTIONAL INVENTORY MANAGER

SUMMARY: Primary duties include managing fractional rental inventory, producing monthly reports, communicating with club representatives and fractional owners, and attending weekly FPA yield management meetings. This position is also required to answer sales calls daily through the ACD (automatic call distribution) along with all other sales staff, as well as respond to email inquiries, and other shared tasks.

The candidate is expected to be a positive and productive team member, represent the company professionally with fractional club representatives, stay current with emerging technology, and generate additional revenue for the company and its owners. Strong organizational, and verbal communication, industry computer knowledge, and teamwork skills are needed. Candidate must have excitement in promoting the company and Aspen as a great vacation destination.

Please note: This position will be required to work at least one Saturday shift per month.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Fractional Inventory Management

  • Follow up on rental leads in a timely manner and maintain monthly reports of activity and potential business
  • Yield and manage fractional club weeks - weekly revenue management meetings
  • Work with the front desk on rooming lists and check-in packets as needed for any VIP
  • Contacting owners as needed asking for releases
  • Quarterly (or more as needed) communication with club owners.
  • Follow up on client and guest requests (email options, etc.)
  • Attend monthly staff meetings.
  • Maintaining and following up on the guest waitlist for future or unavailable units/past guests
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and promotions, as well as update all FPA sales staff with any changes the club may implement that impact how we market and rent weeks.
  • Following up with guests that have past due balances on bookings
  • Ensure training of the property management software and other applications is maintained and developed
  • Conduct property tours as needed for rental guests, FPA sales staff to tour each club once per year
  • Stay current on Aspen/Snowmass promotions, events and attractions

Marketing

  • Ensure FPA collateral is updated and restocked accordingly, if applicable.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Preferred but not required - bachelor's degree, some resort industry experience including yield management and vacation rental associated technology.

  • Strong communication skills both oral and written are required.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills are recommended.
  • Sound reasoning skills are required.

SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE

  • All Microsoft Office programs with strong knowledge of Excel.
  • PowerPoint or more current software with the ability to assemble an electronic presentation.
