There are multiple ways to get around Aspen once you're here. The public bus system, the Downtowner, and the WeCycle bike program are all great options for getting where you need to go without the hassle of a car. But we know it's not always practical to not have a car. If you're driving from out of town or have plans once you're here to explore some harder to get to places, having a car is helpful. Every Frias Properties unit comes with a parking pass for parking while you're home, but parking in town, or parking for guests, can be hard to navigate. So we've put together a handy guide to help.

Downtown Parking

Downtown parking is limited to a maximum of four hours. Pay stations are located on every block and accept credit cards, tokens, and change (no dollar bills). Parking tokens are available at businesses that display token decals on their windows. After receiving payment, the pay station will provide a receipt to be displayed face-up on the driver’s side of your dashboard. You can also pay with your phone either via a phone call or a signing up for a website.

The Downtown metered spaces are enforced Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and city holidays are free.

Mobile phone payment is accepted with:

Residential parking is enforced Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. (2 hours free for a maximum of two hours daily).

Residential Day Passes - Day Passes allow a vehicle to park in the residential areas for an entire day for $8.00. Day passes may be purchased with a credit card from the residential parking meters located on each block. Pay by phone is also available using location code 2401 (see Downtown, above).
