Planning on bringing a group to Aspen next winter? Want a skiing getaway for your family and friends? Frias Properties of Aspen can help. This past year, Frias Properties is beginning to see group numbers increasing earlier in the year, as people are becoming more motivated to get that Aspen ski trip booked. It may just be June, but the earlier space is blocked the better the availability and pricing is.

To assist you in planning, contact our Group Sales Department for more information. Our Group Sales Department handles all of the group business that is booked with Frias Properties.
The Chateau Roaring Fork and Chateau Eau Claire complexes are extremely popular with ski clubs because of the number of available units that range from economy to deluxe. There’s also three hot tubs and Aspen’s largest heated outdoor pool, a spacious conference room, and free passes to a local health club for guests.

During the winter ski months, many groups gravitate to the Chateau Roaring Fork and Chateau Eau Claire. The two complexes, across the street from one another, are located on the free city bus route that provide service to all four area mountains -- Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass -- and are reasonably priced. For those needing ski lessons, the Aspen Skiing Company offers a variety of skiing and snowboarding lessons for all levels, either private or group. Call (877) 282-7736.

Have kids? Snowmass Mountain has a wonderful ski school for children and the terrain is largely varied to suit any skier level. Children and young adults may enjoy taking a break from the mountain and climbing the wall or lounging in the lazy pool at the Aspen Recreation Center. There are also multiple venues in which you and your family can enjoy other activities such as snowshoeing, dog sledding, carriage rides, and much more.

If your group is flying directly in to the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport (ASE), Frias Properties will provide complimentary transfers to and from their condominium to the airport. When you get to town, you can walk to all the restaurants and shops, or take the free bus to the ski mountains or other attractions such as Maroon Bells or Snowmass. Frias also recommends using Smiddy Limousine while in Aspen for additional transportation needs. Groups who book luxury units will also receive complimentary on-demand, in-town transportation.

If your group is flying in to Denver International Airport (DIA) or another area airport, you can book a van or private car, or use Colorado Mountain Express. Additionally, if your group has enough people, you may consider charting a bus with Grayline.

If this is your first time bringing a group to Aspen, call our group sales department to discuss the opportunities. If you’re looking for a return trip to Aspen, contact us to see how we can expand the opportunities on your next trip.
