
Marketing Director

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Director leads brand strategy, digital performance, and guest communication for Frias Properties of Aspen Snowmass—serving as an “army of one” who oversees all marketing execution and agency management. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution across digital, creative, and community-facing initiatives. This manager level position must interact with and help all staff improve the company.
CORE COMPETENCIES
• 3-5 years of progressive marketing experience (hospitality, travel, or vacation-rental industry preferred)
• Strategic thinker with hands-on ability to execute across digital, brand, and creative
• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and performance-driven marketing spend management
• Experience leading external agencies and partnering cross-functionally
• Ability to thrive independently, prioritizing and executing in a fast-moving environment
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills
• Team oriented with leadership skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead marketing strategy and execution across all customer touchpoints
• Own development, performance, and optimization of digital channels—website, email, paid media, SEO, content, and social
• Manage the website as the primary revenue channel and brand storefront
• Lead and manage external agencies for performance and accountability
• Drive brand initiatives including campaigns, guest communications, creative development, events, and community partnerships
• Oversee reputation management, online reviews, and distribution channels as needed
• Elevate and govern brand standards across platforms
• Partner closely with Reservations, Revenue Management, and Operations to connect marketing to business performance
• Represent Frias Properties within the Aspen Snowmass community

• A cohesive, elevated brand experience for guests, owners, employees, and the community
• Year-over-year improvement in website performance as measured by established KPIs
• Demonstrated marketing contribution to revenue growth and operational efficiency
• Strong partnerships with agency teams and internal departments
• Clarity in reporting, insights, and recommendations that support leadership decision-making
COMPENSATION REQUIREMENTS AND BENEFITS
• Full-time, with most days spent in the Aspen main office
• Roaring Fork Valley residents preferred
• Compensation: $115K + Commission (historically $ 15 k +)
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, PTO, discounted ski passes
• Reports to: Ownership Group
