This week, Frias Properties Web Marketing Manager Kevin Burton continues his blog series called “Behind the Lens,” detailing recently photographed units managed by Frias Properties. In this installment, Kevin focuses on Chateau Roaring Fork Unit 8 and Unit 30.
CHATEAU ROARING FORK UNITS FRESHLY RENOVATED
Located right on the Roaring Fork River, the Chateau Roaring Fork condominiums are one of the most popular summer rentals here at Frias Properties. Guests enjoy the views and sounds of the river, and also the peace and quiet of being in a quiet residential area while also being close to downtown Aspen and everything it offers. Just four blocks from downtown, guests also have the option of catching the free local bus, which picks up right outside the complex and has several stops downtown, including directly in front of the Silver Queen Gondola at Aspen Mountain.
Units at the Chateau Roaring Fork range from 1-4 bedrooms and are rated standard and deluxe. Complex amenities include an on-site heated pool and hot tubs, workout center, conference room, complimentary Aspen airport transfers, free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi. Also, all Frias Properties of Aspen guests receive complimentary passes to a local health club for the duration of their stay.

Chateau Roaring Fork Unit 8
This deluxe rated three-bedroom, two-bath condominium is a top floor unit with vaulted ceilings, a deck with grill and excellent river views. Located on the north end of the building, this condo features an updated kitchen with granite counter tops and a breakfast bar with bar stools. The living room has a sofa, love seat and two separate leather chairs - all around a flat screen TV and wood-burning fireplace - making this unit very cozy and comfortable. There's also a dining area that seats six.
Outside on the deck is a gas barbecue grill and patio seating, offering indoor and outdoor dining options. Other amenities include a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. The master bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV, sitting area and an en-suite bathroom.
Both guest bedrooms offer two twin beds each - so this unit sleeps six.
Kevin's comments: This unit would be perfect for anyone looking for plenty of living space along with all the traditional amenities of a chain hotel - and then some. The complex heated pool and hot tub, conference center, gym and sauna are located in the very next building - so guests who book Unit #8 do not have to go far. If you want to be close to everything, but still have some privacy, this unit could be for you.
Chateau Roaring Fork Unit 30
This top floor corner unit is located on the south side of the complex, offering optimal, unobstructed views of the Roaring Fork River. With vaulted ceilings and sliding glass doors on the south and east side of the living area, this condominium is light and bright with plenty of sunshine. The open living area also features a leather sofa and two separate chairs, hardwood floors, a wood-burning fireplace, formal dining for 6, laundry closet, and an updated kitchen with granite counter tops.
The outside deck offers great views, a sitting area and a barbecue gas grill. The master bedroom has a queen canopy bed, flat screen TV and an en-suite master bathroom. The first guest bedroom offers a queen-size bed and plush linens, while the second guest bedroom has a double set of twin bunk beds. This unit sleeps eight.
Kevin's comments: An extremely popular unit, so book early. With windows and sliding doors on two sides of the living area, this condo is unique. It offers great views of the river from the top floor. Since it's a top floor corner unit, guests can really feel secluded from everything and just enjoy the mountain views and sights and sounds of the Roaring Fork River. Just like Unit #8, guests of Chateau Roaring Fork #30 have full access to all of the amenities offered above. If you're looking for a condominium that's a perfect fit for kids, this might be it.
