Reservation Sales Agent

POSITION OVERVIEW
Each day varies as we have a variety of properties at all price points. The reservations specialist is responsible for assisting guests during the booking process via phone, email, and online chats, completing the reservation, and coordinating with other departments to ensure the guest receives the best experience after booking. This position is integral to our sustainability as a 40+ year local rental and property management company. 

QUALIFICATIONS
Sales experience with a hospitality or property management background is preferred. Must have a high school diploma and a college degree is preferred. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are needed, and an ability to learn new software systems is key. Must be self-motivated and possess the skills to work with high end costumers in a friendly and professional manner. An excitement to promote the unique and awesomeness of Aspen with potential visitors, and repeat guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assist guests in securing reservations through phone, email, and online sources, and follow up with payment to compete the process.
• Answering questions regarding our varied properties, policies, and what to expect after their reservation is confirmed. 
• Meeting with walk-in customers and coordinating occasional property showings. 
• Communicate with property owners as needed regarding rental activity, and owner reservations.
• Coordinate with other departments such as guest services, housekeeping and maintenance as needed to ensure the best guest experience.
• Be willing to collaborate with the team and offer ideas as it relates to new systems and software to improve the guest experience.
• Create professional work relationships with Real Estate Brokers, travel agents, and international wholesale partners. 
• Participate in weekly sales meetings to pinpoint areas of improvement & highlight successes.
• Business travel on occasion to trade shows or educational seminars. 

This position will service our Aspen properties.  Applicant must live in the Roaring Fork Valley.

Job Type: Full-time  

Salary: $65K - $75K + Commission
