In 2024, Frias Properties of Aspen Snowmass is celebrating our 50th year in business.  For over five decades, Frias Properties has been dedicated to serving both local homeowners and visitors from across the globe. Under the leadership of Chuck Frias, Tim Clark, and Ben Wolff the company has evolved into a pivotal entity within the Aspen Snowmass community. With a substantial local workforce, the firm manages the needs of hundreds of homeowners and extends hospitality to thousands of visitors annually.

Headquartered at 730 East Durant Avenue in Aspen, Frias Properties manages three satellite operation centers at the Fashing Haus, Silverglo, and Independence Square Hotel.  In 2023, Frias Properties expanded into Snowmass Village assuming property management responsibilities of Chamonix, Homestead, The Enclave and Owl Creek Homes. Our Snowmass operations are headquarted at The Enclave located at 360 Wood Road in Snowmass Village.

MEET THE OPERATIONS TEAM

FRIAS PROPERTIES OF ASPEN SNOWMASS is celebrating its 50th year anniversary in 2024.  We have been serving Aspen Snowmass homeowners since 1974 and continue to be one of the more reputable property management companies in the Roaring Fork Valley.  Our specialized teams are small enough to cater to each homeowner’s personal goals and needs, yet large enough to handle any task, from midnight emergencies to large-scale, capital projects. 

BEN WOLFF | Managing Partner & General Manager Aspen

Ben has more than a decade of property management and hospitality experience, having worked at some of the finest destination clubs in Aspen, Snowmass, and Park City. After a tenure as the East Aspen Director of Operations, Ben was promoted to General Manager and now oversees all operations at Frias Properties of Aspen.  In January of 2024, Ben became a Managing Partner of Frias Properties.

CHRIS LONGDEN | Director of Operations - East Aspen

Chris joined Frias Properties in 2021 and brought deep luxury hospitality experience to his oversight of the East Aspen homes and condominiums. In his free time, Chris enjoys biking, camping, hiking, and skiing.

ZANE STRICKLAND | Director of Operations - West Aspen

An Atlanta, Georgia native, Zane joined Frias Properties in 2020 as a Property Manager.  He was promoted to Director of Operations - West Aspen in 2024. Zane enjoys nature, winter sports, and all the things the mountains have to offer.

Frias Properties of Aspen Snowmass boasts a tenured RESERVATIONS & MARKETING TEAM with deep local knowledge and intimate understanding of our vacation rental inventory. From group sales to online channel management, each team member specializes in a revenue-driving pursuit to best serve our homeowners and maximize your earning potential.

MOLLY MEEK | Director of Marketing & Global Sales

An Augusta, Georgia native, Molly moved to Aspen in 2021.  She has a background in Consumer Packaged Goods marketing/brand management.  She has a BS in Business Management from Georgia Tech and an MBA from NYU.  Molly is a Certified Personal Trainer and enjoys teaching fitness classes and training clients at the Aspen Recreation Center.

GWEN COHEN | Reservations Manager

Gwen grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Aspen in 2005. She has been working in the Aspen real estate rental market for more than a decade. When she’s not at work, she can be found hiking, biking, playing tennis or cross-country skiing.

MEET THE GUEST SERVICES & HOUSEKEEPING TEAM

Our GUEST SERVICES staff assists our homeowners and guests with all their pre-arrival trip planning as well as in-house requests, from dinner reservations and grocery delivery to discounted lift tickets. Our HOUSEKEEPING teams are on the front line, ensuring both guest and homeowner safety with our rigorous cleaning protocols. Plus, they reset our rental properties for owner usage according to each homeowner’s specifications.

MARIYA MITSINOVA | Head Concierge

Mariya has served our guests and homeowners since 2010, providing invaluable local insight and assisting with on-the-ground vacation planning, from making dinner reservations and arranging grocery delivery to booking once-in-a-lifetime Aspen experiences.

LESLEY MCMATH | Guest Services Manager

Lesley has been with Frias Properties for many years and oversees our Guest Service activities and personnel. Prior to this role, Lesley manned the front desk at the Independence Square, and many of our guests praise her helpfulness and kind demeanor.

Overseeing half our housekeeping operations, Manuel has been with Frias Properties since 2008. Many of our homeowners sing Manuel’s praise for his attention to detail and memory of their personal preferences. Outside of work, Manuel loves trail running and spending time with his family and five dogs.

MEET OUR MANAGING PARTNERS

CHUCK FRIAS | Managing Partner

Originally from Dartmouth, Mass., Chuck drove his car over Independence Pass in 1974 and landed in Aspen for good. His first foray into property management was as a housekeeper for Coates Reid Waldron, the largest property management company in Aspen. Chuck became a property manager the next year and continued in this capacity for the next 11 years, earning his stripes on the front lines of the property management and vacation rental industries.

In 1985, Chuck became a partner and vice president of operations at Aspen Club Properties, leading operations for several divisions including property management, real estate and a lodging property that became the Sky Hotel. Chuck managed these entities through a company sale and eventually bought the remaining interests in 1998. With his comprehensive experience in every aspect of Aspen real estate and property management, he started the company that is now Frias Properties.

TIM CLARK | Managing Partner

In August of 2000, Tim Clark merged his company, Aspen Classic Properties, with Chuck’s to form Frias Properties of Aspen. The two remain equal partners today. Tim, born and raised in Aspen, attended University of Colorado and built his resume in real estate, management, sales and development working with his father, a prominent Aspen attorney. He became a realtor and started managing properties for Dolomite Villas in 1988. Tim started his own management company, and he and his partners steadily acquired other Aspen-area management companies to grow his company to Aspen Classic Properties.

Tim believes deeply in the value of community involvement and has served on a variety of boards and community-based organizations, including president of the Aspen Lodging Association. Through hard work and integrity, Tim has earned the respect of the Aspen lodging and real estate community and the many buyers and sellers with whom he works.
