Snowmass Bike Park goes off in August

Bookended by the last Snowmass Bike Park Race Series event of the summer and the Big Mountain Enduro, the first annual Snowmass Bike Festival is full of races, demos, skills clinics, entertainment, and more.

Festival Events

Snowmass Bike Park Race Series - Tuesday, Aug. 13




The last stage of this race series kicks off the Bike Festival. Both local and visiting riders will challenge each other on an announced set course. Held in conjunction with Bonus Bike Night and Farm-to-Table Tuesdays, this is a great event for mountain bikers and spectators of all levels.

Community Trail Build on Hawk Ridge Trail - Wednesday, Aug. 14




Join Aspen Skiing Company staff and the Roaring Fork Mountain Bike Association (RFMBA) to help give back with trail work on the Hawk Ridge trail in Snowmass Village.

Free Concert at Fanny Hill - Thursday, Aug. 15




On Thursday evening, head to Fanny Hill at Snowmass for a free The Samples concert. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the reggae influenced rock/pop band with the Elk Mountains as your backdrop.

Power of Four Mountain Bike Race - Saturday, Aug. 17




Returning for its ninth year, the premiere endurance race tests the limits and skills of both elite and recreational athletes. The race will utilize some of the best single track trails in the Roaring Fork Valley, specicially in Snowmass.

VIDA Mountain Bike Clinic - Saturday & Sunday, Aug. 17-18




Join VIDA for a 2-day clinic at Snowmass Bike Park OR race the Big Mountain Enduro with the ladies on the VIDA team. Plus, the Rider to Racer program includes a one-day clinic on Saturday and a one-day race on Sunday.

Big Mountain Enduro Race - Saturday & Sunday, Aug. 17-18




As one of America's premier venues, the diverse terrain at Aspen Snowmass will challenge top professional riders with 4,000-foot descents. The six-stage event includes plenty of raw terrain, and more than 1,500 feet of climbing and 15,000 feet of descent, from above the tree line to the high mountain desert.
