When do most Aspen weddings take place?

Summer is the most popular wedding season in Aspen, with June through September offering long days, reliable weather, and the full range of outdoor venues. September and early October add fall foliage — one of the most visually dramatic backdrops in the Rockies. Winter weddings do happen, and Aspen in December and January has its own kind of atmosphere, but availability tightens considerably with ski season demand.

How far in advance should we book a hotel block or vacation rentals for a wedding?

For peak summer weekends, 12 to 18 months in advance is not unusual. Popular venues book out, and vacation rental availability for large groups follows. Contacting our groups team early gives you the most options and the best chance of keeping your guests close together.

Can Frias coordinate accommodations for both the hotel and vacation rentals at once?

Are airport transfers available for wedding guests?

Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) is served by complimentary transfers for vacation rental guests. For Independence Square Hotel guests, our concierge team can arrange transportation through vetted local providers. Guests arriving via Denver International Airport (DEN) typically use private ground transportation. Our concierge team can assist with recommendations.
