Experience the Nation's Premier LGBTQ Winter Festival
Aspen Gay Ski Week (AGSW) is the oldest and largest annual week-long gay ski event in the nation. Established in 1977, this high-energy festival is a cornerstone of the Aspen community and serves as the primary fundraiser for AspenOUT, a non-profit dedicated to LGBTQ+ mental health, education, and community grants.
Taking place from January 11–18, 2026, the event transforms all four area mountains—Aspen Mountain, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands, and Buttermilk—into a vibrant celebration of pride and inclusivity.
Event Highlights Include:
- Mountain du Jour: Daily organized group skiing and riding that moves to a different mountain each day, ensuring attendees experience the best terrain in the valley.
- Iconic Après-Ski: The social heart of the week, featuring daily happy hours, music, and social mixers at local hotspots like the Limelight Hotel.
- Signature Parties: A legendary lineup including the Top of the Mountain Party at 11,000 feet, the high-fashion White Party, and the massive Pool Party Finale.
- Downhill Costume Contest: A must-see tradition where contestants ski down Aspen Mountain in creative, outrageous costumes to be judged by celebrities and drag queens.
- Arts & Entertainment: A diverse schedule of comedy shows, Drag Queen Bingo, film screenings, and "Friendship Dinners" at Aspen's world-class restaurants.
