A ski in, ski out location is at the top of most winter visitors' wish lists. Much like an oceanfront room at a beach resort, slopeside convenience can be worth a high premium. Interestingly, Aspen is a rare destination with very few accommodations in this category--one truly ski in, ski out hotel and a handful of ski in, ski out condos and homes.

How to find a ski in, ski out condo in Aspen
Frias Properties of Aspen offers several condominiums with direct access to Aspen Mountain as well as luxury vacation rentals at the slopeside Ritz-Carlton Club at Aspen Highlands. Some of our best ski in, ski out options are in the Shadow Mountain Condominiums, a small complex located on the Lift 1A side of Aspen Mountain. Nearby, our three-bedroom, three-bathroom deluxe Mountain Queen condominium gives visitors a front row view of the ski slopes.
In addition, Frias Properties has several "ski in" condos that are just a few blocks to Aspen Mountain's Silver Queen Gondola. Skiers can skip the short walk home and dip off Aspen Mountain to ski directly to the Durant Condominiums or Fifth Avenue condos. There's no better feeling than stepping right out of your skis and into your luxurious vacation rental.

Better than ski in, ski out? Access to the free skiers' shuttle
In Aspen, proximity to the free skiers' shuttle might be more valuable than ski in, ski out access. With four unique ski areas--Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass and Buttermilk--visitors can have four distinct ski trips in one vacation and all within a short shuttle ride.
In addition, Aspen Mountain is designed for intermediate, advanced and expert skiers with no beginner runs. Many Frias Properties guests prefer to stay close to Aspen's vibrant dining and nightlife but ski easier terrain. We recommend condos at Hyatt Grand Aspen, Innsbruck Aspen, Fasching Haus, Alpenblick and a few others. These properties have easy access to the free skiers' shuttle to Aspen Highlands, Snowmass or Buttermilk.
