Step back in time and speed through the Snowmass backcountry aboard a dog sled being pulled by 8 to 10 Alaskan Husky sled dogs and maneuvered by an expert musher. This once-in-a-lifetime experience is a favorite among our guests and offered by Krabloonik Dog Sledding

Krabloonik Dog Sledding

Krabloonik Dog Sledding offers morning, midday, and evening dog-sled tours that start near Snowmass Village and take riders into pristine wilderness areas. Each sled can carry two adults and one child (max total weight 415 lbs), and the excursions last about an hour.

Krabloonik sleddogs are working dogs, born and bred for their sledding jobs. Krabloonik Owners Danny and Gina Phillips consider their dog-sledding operation part of the cultural fabric of Aspen Snowmass and work hard to preserve the authentic experience of dog-sledding in an Alpine environment.

Reserve your dog sledding adventure at Krabloonik.com or with the Frias Properties Concierge. Cancellations are accepted at least two weeks in advance.

Fine-Dining at Krabloonik

Krabloonik is also home to a fine-dining restaurant, which serves lunch and dinner during peak winter months. We recommend enjoying their wild-game specialities after an exciting dog-sledding excursion. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (970) 923-3953.
