Aspen Music Festival Winter Recitals

For more than two decades, the AMFS has presented a recital series in Harris Concert Hall that showcases this spectacular venue to Aspen's winter devotees and maintains its presence within the Roaring Fork Valley. Support of Winter Music has been instrumental in allowing the AMFS to continue to bring world-class music to the mountains beyond the summer months and maintain its excellence as a presenting organization.

2018 Featured Performers

Inon Bernatan, piano. Feb. 28, 2018, Harris Concert Hall
Israeli-born Inon Barnatan is one of the most celebrated pianists of his generation. In his third year as artist-in-association at the New York Philharmonic, he has been described by NYP Music Director Alan Gilbert as "a complete artist: a wonderful pianist, a probing intellect, passionately committed."

Willian Hagen, violin. March 10, 2018, Harris Concert Hall
Only 23 years old, AMFS alumnus violinist William Hagen has excited Aspen audiences for several summers with his artistic sensitivity and obvious love of music making. This bright young star is sure to captivate you with his elegance and enthusiasm.

Pacifica Quartet, March 15, 2018, Harris Concert Hall.
The Pacifica Quartet, which trained in Aspen, has gained international recognition for virtuosity, passionate performances, and daring repertoire. The Quartet has played nearly 1,500 concerts all over the world, from the monumental cycles of Beethoven and Shostakovich to numerous premieres.
