Climb Aspen Mountain to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation

Summit for Life is a widely anticipated event that kicks off our uphilling season. Racers skin, run, or hike up Aspen Mountain to support the Chris Klug Foundation's mission of raising awareness of organ and tissue donation.

On Saturday, Dec. 4, participants will meet at Gondola Plaza at 5 p.m. with the race beginning at 5:30 p.m. Hike, skin, or snowshoe up the 3,267 vertical feet of Aspen Mountain and celebrate with dinner at the Sundeck provided by The Little Nell. The Chris Klug Foundation will be announcing race winners as well as honoring the 2020 and 2021 Bounce Back Give Back award recipients.

This year, there is still a virtual race option where participants have 10 days to complete their own personal "summit" by climbing Aspen Mountain's elevation of 3,267. For participation details and rules, visit SummitForLife.org.

Aspen Summit for Life and its supporters enable the Chris Klug Foundation to focus on the mission of promoting life-saving organ and tissue donation and improving the quality of life for those touched by donation.
