For more than 50 years, Aspen Ruggerfest has brought together rugby players from across the globe for a thrilling four-day tournament in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Held each September, this rain-or-shine (and sometimes snow!) event welcomes 30 to 40 teams to Wagner Park, where fans gather to watch world-class competition against a stunning mountain backdrop.
International teams from Ireland, Australia, Wales, Canada, England, Scotland, and France have all traveled to Aspen to experience the unique combination of high-level play and the charm of a mountain ski town. The event draws both seasoned rugby enthusiasts and curious visitors, making it one of Aspen’s most celebrated annual sporting traditions.
