One of the things that makes the town of Aspen so special is the beautiful Roaring Fork River that runs through it from east to west. No matter the season, the sound, sight, and smell of running water never more than a few blocks away can be refreshing and portrays a feeling of movement in a town otherwise surrounded by peaks. The season where the river really comes alive, though, is in the spring. The snow for the high mountains starts to melt and that water seeks the closest escape to the mighty Colorado and from the mountains in Aspen, that means it surges into the Roaring Fork. The usually mellow flow starts to increase steadily from April through June when it then starts to slowly recede back to its standard rate of flow. To see the river at its mightiest is a sight — and sound — to behold.

The views from this aptly-named, two-story, three-bedroom unit are incomparable. With a gas grill and the sounds of the Roaring Fork, you may only need one trip to the grocery store and then never want to leave.
There are many other units at the Chateau Roaring Fork with similarly great views including unit 21 and 24 among others.
CHATEAU EAU CLAIRE #17
Picture warm days on the large deck overlooking the Roaring Fork River and cool nights cozied in front of a wood-burning fire. That picture can be a reality with this unit in the ultra convenient Chateau Eau Claire.

Located on Hopkins Ave right before the pedestrian bridge, the Riverview building sees the Roaring Fork River from two sides as the river bends. One of the two decks overlooks the river and is the perfect place to enjoy an evening cocktail while absorbing the sounds of nature.
