World-class golf and breathtaking views

Aspen Snowmass offers some of the most challenging and beautiful golf courses in the world, and many of them are accessible to visitors and guests. Challenge yourself on 18 holes amid the majesty and beauty of the Rocky Mountains, receive top-flight instruction, grab a bite to eat, or hit the driving range at one of the valley's local public or private golf courses.

Private Golf Clubs

There are two noteworthy private clubs in the Aspen Snowmass area. The Maroon Creek Club has a challenging 18-hole Tom Fazio-designed course that is both challenging and unique. The Roaring Fork Club offers an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature course with stunning views in symmetry with the natural mountain landscape. NOTE: Both clubs require private membership. The Frias Concierge Desk cannot assist with booking private clubs. 

Public Golf Courses

Aspen Snowmass offers a number of public golf courses that are both breathtaking and challenging. The Aspen Golf Club is right near town and on the free bus route. Set against the majestic Mt. Sopris, River Valley Ranch Golf Club is only 45 minutes from downtown Aspen in Carbondale, CO. The Hall of Famer Jay Morrish-designed course provides guests with elevation changes, river carries, and challenging bunker play.

Referred by locals as the best-kept secret in the valley, Ironbridge Golf Club is located just outside Glenwood Springs, Colorado and offers an alpine course designed by Arthur Hills. The 18-hole course is set against the backdrop of Mt. Sopris and the Roaring Fork Valley.

The Aspen Golf Club is located two miles from downtown Aspen. The course accommodates all levels of play with four sets of tees. The design of the course is a "Parkland style," which is defined by undulating greens with water coming into play on 14 of 18 holes.
