Getting to Aspen
Aspen has a remote mountain setting, but getting here is easy! Aspen Airport (ASE) is serviced by American, Delta, and United with daily service from major domestic cities including Denver, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco.
Aspen/Pitkin County Airport has extended mulitple offerings for the 2017/2018 season. A 20% increase in air traffic makes it that much easier to plan your vacation from anywhere with more flights available and affordable.
Driving from the Front Range? The Glenwood Springs bridge is now open! This makes the tansition from I-70 to HWY 82 much easier. Take Independence Pass in the summer months to cut your drive time down by about 30 minutes. For updates on when Independence Pass is open and closed, check with C-DOT. Aspen visitors can also fly into Denver International Airport (DEN), Eagle County Regional Aiport (EGE), or Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT). Ground transportation is available through Colorado Mountain Express and other providers.
